NFL 2k3 - what do you think?

So my xbox died after 4 1/2 years, and I only have my 360 and gamecube. I love 2k5, but I really dont want to pay for a new xbox just for that game, so I just picked up nfl 2k3 for the cube for 2 dollars to get my ESPN football fix ( have NCAA 07 on the 360 and really enjoy it, but Madden just isn't there yet). I've been playin 2k since the original on dreamcast, but 2k3 was the one year I didnt buy a fball game. Any thoughts on how it plays, etc? Just checking reviews on the web, it seems to be highly praised and should work for a while. Thanks everyone

what do i think..

1.i think it's the pinnacle of football games for vc..the run game was perfect.the passing was realistic and hard.

2.it did have flaws in .tacklers flew far..wr dropped some quarantees..cb did some silly jumps...but the other effects equallled out some of that..if you stepped up in the pocket and planted your feet then you'd have a better chance at catching the ball..and cb's had better reaction to ball than 2k5..it's better than madden's super qb and every wr is a star mentality.....it was an eazy way to beat an o-line man with a special move..

3.2k3 was the hights before then new awesome engine came in with momentum in 2k4-2k5 and vc would have been in phase three with 2k6.....

flaws and all it played realistic....

reall fun too cause defense was thee factor..not over the top passes and broken runs..

as soon as you turn on the game bump up the catch slider by just a little....and you good to go.

thanks for the tips...everyone who has played said it's really good, and it sounds like it. I'm a big fan of the defensive side of the ball in football games, so this should work perfectly.
