Will they ever allow it to be BC on 360?

If they don't make 2K5 BC then I know VC is making another football game. If VC weren't making another football game I'm sure MS would make it BC. Has MS made any sports game BC?

Why is it that they are putting games that 1)Didn't sell too well on the Box and 2)Games that are outdated (ie, World Series 2k3?)? I can't see the purpose of this, but I guess I don't work at MS and can't read their minds.

They do have a couple 2K games on that list. WSB2K3 and 2K4 so maybe one day NFL2K5 will be BC.

It's not MS's choice really on what games they put up.

They have a pretty general emulator and they find all the games that are best compatible with it first, then move on to the games they want to have the most compatibility with.

I imagine sports games and games with a lot of sequels are now a high priority since they have annual or bi-annual updates.

So it's highly unlikely they will make NFL2K5 BC because our corner of the internet is clamoring for it. That is, unless of course, they develop a functioning emulator for another titles that also happens to work on NFL2K5.

Alas, if the Xbox and X360 shared nearly the same architechture then we wouldn't have this problem; or if MS had gone Sony's route and included the original chipset of Xbox in 360 (which they couldn't, I think).

That's why PS2 is readily BC with 95% of PS1 titles -- the PS1 chipset is included in the PS2 *(it's primary function is for memory cards and controller processing).
