Sub in/out location

Where is the setting for Sub in/out?
Sorry, I just got the game so please forgive the question.

I believe you have to start a game and then access that through the pause menu... but don't quote me

I tried that but I was in franchise mode.. perhaps I need to be out of that.
But yeah, I looked in the Coach settings, Franchise settings, gameplay.. once my game gets done (CPU vs CPU), I'll look again.

Go to game plan, then auto substitution.

Thanks , the problem was the fact that I was watching CPU vs CPU and since I didn't have control, that was greyed out. I got it now, thanks guys.
