Initial tweaks results
Well, my initial game was sort of interesting. I wanted to play vs. the Colts w/ the Chiefs, so I stuck them in my division. Turned out season gm #1 was KC @ Indy. I succeeded in keeping the ball out of Peyton's hands, but the Colts find numerous ways to beat you. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep the ball out of Brackett's hands who INT'd me in my own territory and scampered in for a 20 yd TD. I was down 17-7 at half time, having scored on a late drive before the half ended. Peyton was only 5/11 for 40 yds in the 1st H. But Addai was 7/94 and a TD having busted a 72 yd'er. Gonzo had 4/58 and a TD leading my passing attack. LJ could only muster 35 yds on 12 carries.
By the game's end (Colts 27 * Chiefs 14), it was mainly the Colts controlling a running attack with Peyton's finishing stats going for 8/16 for ony 91 yds, 0 TD's/0 INT's. Huard went 15/24 for 231 and 2 TD's/1 INT (respectable). LJ ended w/ 20/75 and 0 TD's. Gonzo led all rec's with 6/100 and 2 TD's. The nice thing to see was that with about 5 mins. to go, Indy went to a solid ground attack chewing up about 3:45 of the clock on 12 plays for 73 yds. The defense also had 6 sacks as I've not gotten the feel for Huard as of yet.
The pass play to run play ration was 16:27 for Indy and 30:22 for me. This was on 8 min. periods, 1 min. less that what I normally play season games.
All in all I liked the feel of the game. I'm going to restart a season with 9 min. periods. The tweaked roster (and accompanying sliders) are in the roster sect.
