2k5 auto pass?

I decided to start playing 2k5 again but I noticed that my QB won't throw the ball after I hike it if I don't push a button. I thought it had the same option like Madden where you could just hike the ball and let the cpu throw the ball.

nope. it allows you to let the cpu handle your QB drop backs and roll outs without worrying about him pulling the trigger (excelent idea IMO). if theres an option to change it im not aware of it.

he also will not scramble unless you take control. he just drops back and sets up in the pocket. alot of us diehard 2k5ers prefer to let the cpu do the qb drops. alot of the pass routes are timing based on the qb drops. the right analog can be used to evade the blitz and step up into the pocket and remain poised to throw.
