The Ultimate "to do" list.

Step 1) Make the game totally editable. The league, the teams, the players, the stats. Allow the community to make this the NFL on their own box and to share to others via saves/Xbox live.

Step 2) Incredible atmosphere and gameplay. Im talking about the things weve been dreaming about: gang tackling, real physics tackling, better AI, and much better atmosphere (pregame, half-time highlights, postgame, highlight saves, better record keeping)

Step 3) Sell the game 6 weeks before Madden.

Step 4) Sell for $49.99

Sit back, analyze sales, read feedback, and prepare for all out war in 2008.

I figure by summer people (NFL fans) will be sick of baseball, and ready for some football.

Also, it gives the community time to edit rosters and get the game playing like the NFL. If youre a fan, and the 2k game looks good, plus you get all the NFL guys via someone's save, plus you can play it a month before Madden, you might get off the fence and buy.

2K5 released a month before Madden and sold great! Price was a huge thing.
But I doubt they will release this for $59.99 but who knows.

This not possible on console 360 or PS3. To really have a customize game this needs to be on a PC platform

From a value standpoint, next to Madden 07 it will probably be worth $99.

Re: The Ultimate "to do" list.

In the gamespot interview, price was mentioned as something that would be revealed later.

Now, if you fully intend to sell at 59, why even mention price in the interview? I think they may sell for full price, but if they wanna entice the Madden crowd, they ought to offer it for either 39 or 49 IMO.
