The halftime/post-game hilights and the weekly show are one of my favorite parts of the game. Berman does get a bit repetitive, which is something that might have been improved in 2k6 or 2k7 versions.

While 2K is my preference for football, I have alway liked alot of the things the Madden series does. But I was always baffled that they didn't pick up on these popular features....they certainly have the resources to do so.

The Game is just really well made. Thats why so many true Football gamers enjoy and boast the hell out of it.. The animations are my favorite part of the game, like when a CB running downfield with a WR puts his hand on the WR while looking back at the QB! Little things like that just make the game so realistic! Oline and Dline battles are so well scripted too, just looks to real. You won't find those things in Madden! hell no.. And the list goes on..

if you can get an old xbox cheap and and play that (especialy in HD) i think you will be even more impressed. I owned both. and the xbox version screamed next gen. even back then.

also i recomend jacking the CPUs sliders up to make it hard to run and win games. once you get to where you can compete by learning the nuances of all the moves and varriables, it raises your level of appreciation that much more.
