I found out that if you say train just the ILBs that the OLB will benefit just as much. Also there's only certain player tasks that are worth a dang. Weights are a no no. You'll more than likely injure your players. I've had no injury problems what so ever with this set up and generally everyone goes up. The Running Back gets the biggest boost with this set-up generally going up 4 or 5 points overall.

Safetys are a real pain to train however they will gain some from this scheme. Good luck with it.

Re: Weekly Preperation help

Basically the deal is

If your C, G, or T do work it benefits all 3 positions.

Same with HB/FB

OLB/ILB

Ect.

Re: Weekly Preperation help

gotcha. hopefully my guys dont lose out on any stamina, durability, or jump points with these.

i never got why my de's, g's, and t's lost jump points after training. how random.

thanks again

Re: Weekly Preperation help

You shouldn't really get any negatives

If you do they should be in minor unimportant areas.

I have noticed though through the season my players have been hopping all over in ratings before training and such.

Like when I started Julius Jones was an 81 Pre-Training and now he's an 82 pre-training.

On the other hand T.O was a 99 pre-training, and I guess he got injured in a game and when he fully recovered (he got poked in the eye so he didn't miss much game time) he was only a 95 overall pre-training.

I believe the training has something to do with whether your stats rise or fall during the season. It could just be with how they've been doing stat wise. Like through 10 games Julius Jones has 16 overall Touchdowns. However T.O is the top receiver in the league and still fell somewhat.

Hard to explain.

Re: Weekly Preperation help

What you need to do to make sure there are no negatives is rearrange your depth chart so everyone is in the 1-3rd string sections.

It's pretty easy to sort out.

This is pretty easy unless you have 4 Quarterbacks or 4 Halfbacks or in the case of a 3-4 Defense, 4 DTs or in a 4-3 Defense, 4 ILBs. (honestly why would you have that many anyhow?)

Otherwise you should be able to work everything just fine.
