Is there any way to get the CPU QB to scramble?

It seems to happen about once every ten games. The last time it happened I was playing versus the 85 Jets and Ken O'Brien, of all people, scrambled for a 12 yard TD against me.

I'm trying to get it so people like Vick and Randall Cunningham will take off down field every now and then. Would it possibly make a difference what coach I choose before the game??? Maybe if I use a certain set of slider settings???

This has been discussed in the past and all I remember is that you'd have to design a playbook with a bunch of QB running plays. Otherwise, we're subject to the programming of the game.

Even that doesn't seem to work too well, as the CPU never seems to call those running plays.

I guess I'll try to jam pack a few of the formations with QB running plays and see what happens.

Best way is to lower Composure to between 10 and 30. They'll take off alot more.

Yeah, it rarely happens against me too. I was playing against the Titans and VY scrambled ONCE in the entire game for like seven yards.

Will this effect anything else? Like throws into coverage, and bad reads when under pressure?

I believe it does if I'm not mistaken, off memory thats what it states in the manual.

I'm wondering if having a high Scramble rating would effect it also?

To be honest, I am not sure. I have tested it with my historic teams with Fran Tarkenton who made Vick look like a statue! He'll take off and run a few times a game with the low setting. Logic tells me it would make the QB try to throw into double or triple coverage, but you know what? I have seen some of my QBs who are rated above 110 in passing categories do the same...so who can say?

I have not seen anything that makes me think it neg affects the passing, but this game is weird. You can go 2 games thinking all is well, then the roof caves in and you doubt all your settings. I am sure you know what I mean...
