To answer the original thread topic, I believe NBA 2k5 had a weekly wrap-up show, but it was nothing compared to NFL's wrapups. And of course as was mentioned upthred, CHoops still has it's expansive pre-season and Selection shows.

Of course, the last College Hoops game I had was 2K5. Looks like I might give 2K8 a rental chance.

I think 2K should develop their own network, calling it The 2K Sports Network and build logos and graphical presentations that run through all of their sports games. It's what's missing.
