Re: Is this game like APF2k8?

I feel that APF runs slower, especially when the QB throws the ball. I don't mean framerate but rather the time it takes for an animation to take place. I love the pace for the default setting in 2K5.

Tonight, I'm going to put both APF and 2K5 in my 360 together (2K5 on the top) and see what happens.

One difference I can name is that in APF, the out-pattern is much easier to complete with almost all QB's. In 2k5, average to poor QB's cannot complete an out-pattern to save their lives.

RIP dqBells 360. If the d discs in at the same time didnt irreveribly damage the drive, then the sheer awesomeness of espn nfl 2k5 and apf 2k8 combine would surely cause a catastrophic explosion.

The biggest difference in gameplay I can think of is how much better the deep ball is in APF... It always seemed like the QB could only toss it about 30 yards down field in 2k5.
