not to speak FOR him but i know when I try to break something down for someone on forums, its like a frustrating million-refresh the browsers experience IM is just much easier to do a walk through.


with that said, i bought the xsata today afetr finding it in the 10th gamestop i went to looking 4 it. is this thing need to be set up adjacent to my xbox360 to work or am i going to be able to just remove the HD and bring it to my pc?

Jesus dude chill out. I was out and away when you messaged.

Start up ESPN2k5 and save a profile, that's so you'll know where to find it on your hard drive
download the Xplorer360 software.
download the roster file
Plug in the USB to the 360 and to your PC
Turn on your 360
Click on Open hard drive/memory card
Go to partition 3, click on XBOX1 and find the folder where you saved the profile. Unzip the roster file to the desktop and then place all of the contents into the folder on the XBOX1 part of the drive.

So we are basically back to the PS2 Sharkport, how annoying.
