Please help with xport...

Hi, hope someone can help me out. I have my xport software installed on a laptop running Vista. I have everything hooked up correctly but the software is not recognizing the 360 harddrive. I have followed the manual instructions with no luck. Anyone have any ideas. thanks in advance

This might sound like dumb questions but going to ask anyway

1) are you getting a blue light that comes on when you plug the usb cable in??

2) is the harddrive fully locked into position. Even though you hear a snap you might have to move it around side to side or push down on it a little harder.

3) if that still doesnt work you might want to try the xplorer360 software.

Thanks for the reply, iam getting the blue light, i have tried the latest xplorer360 it does not recognize the hd either. I will try moving it around,thanks again

When you open up explorer right click on it and select "run as administrator", or something along those lines. Some programs you have to do this with when you have Vista. See if that works.
