How to tone down qb scramble

Hi, no matter what sliders or roster I use, I always find it easy to scramble with the qb and gain lots of yards. At the end of the game he always outruns every hb and fb of the team in rushing. What settings should I use then to make the defense pursue him better? thanks...

What difficulty are you playing on? and what QB? It sounds like you're using Vince Young on Rookie

In effect my team is the Titans but I play with the sliders I find here and puja roster....

I have found running with the QB to be a bit too easy in just about every football game I have ever played.

So my solution is a house rule in that I never run with the QB.....probably not the answer you are looking for.

I generally don't do in a game what the cpu won't or can't do, like block a FG/punt. There's no effective QB spy, so yes running will be easy. One thing you can do is look at how many times Young rushes on average each game and limit yourself to that in the right situations.

You could edit the speeds of your QBs. Mine rarely get away when trying to outrun the D, but when they do it's a nice change. I know what you're talking about though. When I played the default rosters way back when, the QB run was a regular staple in my offense. My adjusted speeds are from about 48 (slow) to low 60s (fast). The best of the best will be in the 70s.
