Quick question about 2K5 on 360

I'm finally gonna try to get updated rosters for 2K5. Once I get an Action Replay for my Xbox, can I use the following device to transfer custom rosters to my 360? I searched for xport on Amazon and this is what it came up with:

Nope. You need to connect your 360 hard drive to your PC.

Yep, what you will want to get is a Datel Xport 360 or a Datel Xsata.

You need to be on Live and it'll download the update once you start the game.

For some reason my 360 won't play 2k5. It worked for like the first two months it was BC but now it don't work and its not the game because I tried three different copies in it.

I just bought 2K5 new (still in original packaging), popped it into my 360 without being connected to Live, and it worked. It didn't prompt me for any kind of update.
