I have Fixed the Passing Issue...

After pouring over this forum...playing close to 500 hundred hours of NFL2K 5....asking dumb questions and getting very good answers...I have fixed my problem.

I don't have the brains to hook up "action replay" or "zxasta" (spelling) to my xbox 360 for transfers that Finn and other unselfish people have made to fix this game out of the box.
So, I had to mod my rosters on the XBOX (Fingers are broken) By reading what you guys have said about attributes their effect and how to curb the deffense...that along with my own trial and error I have finally fixed it.

I have been playing Coach mode or CPU vs CPU since I had my first Computer a Tandy in 1986. We here are older and we love calling the plays and watching the game unfold without any devine intervention. Thank God their are people on ths site who at least understand the CPU vs CPU mode if not play it.

Here is what I did: I play on "PRO" EQ 0ff

Speed: Off/Deff line max of 53 min of 38

QB's: Pass Acc + 10
Read Cov +10
Consis +10

RB's: Route +10

WR's/ TE's: Catch +10
Route +10

LB's/ DL: Pass Rush +5 (I might up this..sacks are still slight)

LB's / DB's: Cov -15
Catch -5
Jump -5
Agg -5 (this is iffy for LB's might effect sacks)

Block --- 32
Pass --- 40 (maxed out)
Run --- 32
Catch ---40 (maxed out)
Cover --- 0
Pursuit --- 6
Tackle --- 0
Kick --- 30
Fatigue --- 6

Injury --- 20
Fumble --- 23
INT --- 0

10 min qtrs.
EQ "Off"

Again it is how what one percieves as realisim but after hours of running thses numbers I have QB % between 48 and 70...with real flucuation (had Brad Johnson come out and throw 9 of his first 9 complete..he finished game 14 of 26 1 Td 1 Int). Payton Manning doesn't throw 4 to 5 picks in the first half his numbers are now Paytonesk`. Your elite DB can still shut down WR without picking off 5 passes. And your elite WR will catch their Pirates share.

These fixes will push 99 on your great offensive players and the great deffensive players which I have depleted are still dominate in games ex: shut down conners and big play safties.

I want to thank all others who have replied to my dumb questions and through your hard work I was able to fix a already great game...played Madden for years...all done with EA now!

Is the defense lousy or is their just more competition strictly in the passing game? Like does this have major effects on anything besides the passing part of the game
