Have you guys tried both versions?

on the 2k5rosters site there's version 4 and 2. Maybe the older one will work.

Has anyone tried getting Finn's editor to open on Windows 8? I can't. It gives me a generic Runtime 217 error, even if I run it in compatibility with Windows XP/Vista/7. I've uninstalled, re-installed, no change.

I was able to get it to run by directly accessing the executable in the Program Files directory. Are you sure there's no parameters being passed in via the shortcut?

Edit - It won't matter if you can run it because you can't save. It looks like Flynn might need to debug the application in Windows 8 to determine why the error is occurring.

Is there anyplace that I can still download the editor? Every site I find gives you some add on spamware junk. I just moved and got my Xbox connected for the 1st time in 2 years. So excited to get this game back out and update it. Unfortunately the editor is on an old computer long gone. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Great site and thank you so much. Now I need to clear off the rust and see if I can remember how to use the editor. So pumped to fire the old Xbox up again! I bought that console in 2005 solely for this game and have kept it, solely for this game. Amazing.

Does a 127 rating for a player in any attribute field really make a difference?

Yes sizeable difference just set someone speed to 127 instead of 99 and you will see
