play this game with the default rosters?

I have APF and really enjoy it but am considering re-purchasing 2K5 for my 360. I don't know if I want to go through all the steps of getting the rosters current, so may just stick with the ones that come with the game.

Thanks, though, to all you guys that are putting in the work to update rosters. Perhaps one of these days when I can actually understand all the steps involved, I'll join the group.

With an Xport/Xsata/MS transfer cable the steps are no different then transfering a safe to your XBOX 1 with AR.

It's something I'll consider as long as it's not too complicated. Sounds like people have been having problems with the transfer cable. I don't have an Elite, so it might be a hassle to get a TC. I'll need to do more research into the Xport/Xsata, but yeah, sounds easy once you get it all downloaded.

Even if you don't purchase a device to help you get new rosters right away, the game is still worth picking up even to play with the default rosters.

Yep, and on that note, I did pick up my copy yesterday for .99 cents. Guy at the store looked at me like I was crazy, then asked if I wanted to pre-order Madden. I laughed, explained why I wouldn't be buying Madden, then went on my way.

Played a game last night and it still plays great, and obviously since I've been playing APF, feels very similar.

I did have a couple of questions:

1. What sliders do people use for default rosters?

2. What's the best camera angle? The default camera feels a little different than APF.

I recommend using sliders posted by Bill Harris for default rosters.
