I tried madden last year but the turnover bug ruined the game since it was well into the season before the game was playable.

And after the absolute mess that this years ncaa is I have 0 desire to play madden. I will wait till the probable glitch/bugs are patched and then rent it.

So instead of waiting for months for that game to play decent I will be playing 2k5 knowing I'm getting a great game right from the start of the season, or even a little early.

Yep, add me to the list as well. If Madden really nailed alot of the things I look for in a football game, I would get it. Every year I read the threads, but haven't been tempted to buy since 2003.

I still have all my custom sounds in 2K5....kind of funny that custom sounds is one of the most popular "New" features in NCAA 09.

I just picked NFL2k5 at eb for $.99, $1.04 with tax. It doesn't get any better than that. No need to drop $60 on Madden now.

going to wait till the season start rosters are set and bugs are taken care of. And then try to find a new copy on ebay. Till then i ll play 2k9 baby

I haven't bought madden since its n64 days, so I don't think I will this year...

I'll try Madden out, but I update my 2K5 rosters and play the game pretty much every day still.

I will probably split time, we'll see. I haven't bought Madden since '04 but I'm 99% sure I'll buy 09 in a few weeks.
