progressive scan? where is this setting?

i hooked up my x-box 1 up with componet to my hitachi widescreen and the screen is flickering?why?

then i hooked it up using yellow red and white and it's pretty clear. am i doing something wrong. in the manual it talks about turning on the progression scan feature on the x-box dashboard, i can't find that setting. i think that's why my componet setup won't stabalize.

Go to Settings/Video Settings/ and turn 480p on, simple as that

it is 15:9 not 16:9

It has to be hooked up with component and not red white and yellow cables.

now it says"invalid scan frequency" when i tried it to another tv in my house. when using the green,blue,red componet cables?

anybody know why?

maybe my x-box1 is so old it doesn't work with componets?

i know it's a universal cable.where it has the green,blue,and red.

and also has the yellow,red and white. which this works and is pretty clear. but i know componet is another step up from this connection setting.

on one of my tv's the screen flickers when doing red,green,and blue(componet connection. then on another it say "sinvalid scan frequency"
