**Updated name and photo indexes**

Sorry for the delay but I had internet problems.

I have added the newest names and deleted the ones that don't work. I went over the original roster plus both updates from VC. Also photos have been added and deleted.

There will still be some UNK's in both parts. I didn't really get a chance to get past the 7,000's but I'm 97% sure that they are in a dead zone. I might go over them one day but it's a very long process. I do know that 8,000 to 8,999 are the draft picks so they stay.

If you use these indexes, it'll be best to do a control + F to bring up all of the players in the editor. You will have to fix the blank names with other names or jersey numbers. The photo part is easier. Just move over to the photo part then hit the top of the photo section. Highlight all of the blank ones, right click, select clear photo and then yes. Just remember to save or it won't accept.

Wait a minute - you went through EVERY player that was in the default index files before all the updating started? I started this with editor 3.0.0.30 because that was the last editor that included the default index files.

Just want to make sure that EVERY player was verified as to whether or not the PBP works.

Not 100% sure about every single player and the default files. I started with the UNK's from the latest editor and put all of those names/pics in the files. I decided to check the original roster and both updates from VC since people were finding names that didn't work and there were a lot. Here are the names from all 3 rosters that don't work:

I also changed a few names because this is what the announcers called them, ex.:
Chris Cash to Christopher
Josh Mallard to Joshua
Rocky Bernard to Robert

So if any players in the files were not in any of the 3 rosters, then they probably were not checked by me. I hope this answered your question.

Which two roster updates did you go through? Opening and final? Also, did you remove the names that didnt have a PBP?

Sorry to be a pain in the *** here but if you verified all the names, then you just saved me a huge amount of time and work.

What you did is greatly appreciated by me and by others but especially me. It's amazing that you ever have free time to play the game itself.

Well done....and well done to dan for the work on the releases. If this game were on PC or editable all the way around, I'd say we could have amassed a team to rival that of the MVP modding site.

I started with the 2005 update then went to the 2004 update after I exported the names to see which ones were not included. I then checked the original roster when you first turn the game on.

I cannot verify that I checked every name unless every name in the editor were part of the the 3 rosters.

Yes I removed that pbp's that didn't work and the photos if they didn't have one. Of course I left the ones with a cyberface if they had one.

I really can't recall the last time I played a full game.

Thanks slapnutz. If I do come across a player who doesnt have their PBP called, I will let you know. I appreciate you going through all the players to see if their PBP was said during gameplay.

Since you cant recall the last time you played a full game, I think it's time that you take a week or two break from updating/verifying stuff and just play the game.
