How do you change user controlled teams in a franchise?

I am pretty sure you can only do this before you start the franchise.

I dl'd a franchise file that has all teams selected so is there a way to deselect them?

Not that I know of.

Open the file in Finn's editor, right click on "user" and the choice to change will appear. You an control whomever you want any time.
