Sorry for being lazy, but I wanted to know the differences between NFL 2K5 for the XBOX and PS2.

I have a PS3, but if it's like a night and day difference, I'll just wait until I pick up a 360 again.

Can some of you diehards enlighten me if there is a noticeable difference between the two? Thanks!

The biggest differences between the two are:
1. The graphics are better on the Xbox version.
2. On the Xbox version, during the halftime and post game highlights, actual plays from the game are replayed. In the PS2 version, there are only snapshots from the plays.

^That and the framerate is a little better on Xbox.

There isn't that much of a difference.

there are replays in the PS2 version if you have the hard drive, or have figured out a way to make a "magic" version of it that will work with non-sony HDD's. i'm not sure if there are replays available on a ps3 though. anyway, i've played both versions and my vote goes to xbox.

PS2 games look good on the PS3, there is definately a change in graphics when you play 2K5 on the PS3 console.

LOL, I didn't even catch that, Oh well, we all make mistakes.

Seeing the HD screens of the PS2 version, I would go ahead and get the PS2 version. Get the Xbox version when you get a 360...It's only a buck or so. You will be missing out on a great game until you get a 360.

Yeah, don't wait a single minute. The PS2 version is probably $2.99 and the xbox version is $1.99 if you can find it. Go ahead and spend the $5 for both of them. Then when you get a 360, you can compare and it will feel like getting a new game immediately. $5 is a lot better than waiting to spend $60 for next years EA crap. But, you'll probably miss out on the new create-a-turf feature.
