great game but 2 problems: subs and penalties

I see holding all the time too. I also see a lot of defensive pass interference and (relatively speaking) illegal man downfield. The computer never seems to jump offsides, I never see offensive pass interference (unless I initiate it by accident when switching to control my WR). I also see plenty of facemasks...both the personal foul and incidental. The penalties are one of the few downsides, overall, to this game, but still better than the competition. The fact that you can see replays showing the penalty being commited and occasionally even get offsetting penalties make it much less problematic for me.

Using the proper cadance will get get the defense offside, but will also get you a False Start. Try this -

D-Line: 99 Aggression, 1 Composure

O-Line: 99 Aggression, 1 Composure

Use the fake 'hut, hut hut' signals and press the screen up to where you view your play art simultaneously. It will throw them off sides almost all the time. I have mine slightly modified, so it doesn't happen so often when I really try to get them to draw offsides.

Played another game last night. Penalties to max, all of them, and I got 1 holding penalty the whole game, on a kickoff return. No other penalties were called. I wish I knew what was going on in that you all are getting lots of holding calls and I am not....

I would keep them to the max and see what you get over a larger sample than one game

I've had games with zero penalties and games with a bunch (though I already mentioned the variety). It is variable. You should see some after at least a handful of games.

yeah...if you're still not seeing improvement try lowering composure for the postions that would effect some of these penalties. Also, as NuJoisey mentioned, Aggression vs composure on the OL/DL help some too.

This unfortunately didn't seem to make it into the XBox version.

how do you mean DFB? just that they dont respond to the hard count on XB?
