Come here for PS2 Roster Conversion

so I figured out how to turn my roster edits game saves into PSV files using the MAX drive so if anybody needs their rosters fixed like with the cap and whatever, give me your PSV file and I'll do it for you.

instead of waiting on guys like TarHeels and Bccruiser, I can convert them for you

Re: Come here for PS2 Roster Conversion

Alright - so now I have the hang out of it thanks to Ryno. The reason why it did not work the second time, is because I renamed the save to "NFL2K5v1"... when you guys upload your files for me to convert do NOT change the name, leave it like BASLUS12345678 whatever, because when I do the actual conversion the file is not picked up.. it'll be on the Memory Card but you wont be able to load it in-game. Thank God I did not sell my PS2 or I'd have to buy another one.

If you want to do this yourself, you will need the following:

Flying Finn Editor
MAX Drive
Playstation 2 console* (not sure if that little disc will work in the PS3, I am not going to even try it cause incase it gets jammed or something)

If you do not want to purchase the MAX Drive which is 40 dollars, just load it up here it takes me no lie like 5 seconds. Plus, I am a lot more reliable than TarHeels and Bccruise because I am not as busy as them so yeah someone sticky this?

Once again, Salary Cap problems whatever just give it to me and I'll help you out.

Re: Come here for PS2 Roster Conversion

I just came across this thread and was wondering if you are able to do a xbox to ps2 conversion. I am trying to find great teams rosters for ps2 but i have not been successful. I found a great teams roster for ps3 at nfl2k5rosters.com, can that be converted from ps3 to ps2. Any info would be helpful.

Download the PSV Exporter from here:

http://www.ps2savetools.com/download...ownload&cid=12

use it to extract the BALSUS file from PSV.

use PS2 Save builder to build a save format you can use.

Finn, my understanding is that your editor allows edits of PS2, XBOX, and XBOX 360 save file, but not PS3 saves. If my understanding is correct, do you know of any program that will convert a PS2 save to a PS3 save file? That way I could edit the PS2 save and convert it to PS3.

I'm new to all this stuff.

EDIT: Although your solution won't work for me, I just saw your response to a similar question in the following thread: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-question.html

Dang, I need a software solution without extra hardware.

Re: Come here for PS2 Roster Conversion

Hey Finn I downloaded the psv exporter and ps2 save builder but my computer will not allow me to open them. Is there something that I am doing wrong? Thx for the help, this is a little more difficult than I thought it might be but I will keep on trying.
