Question to XBOX 360 users who play this game.....

I have it on ps2 right now playing on my ps3 but I was going to buy an xsata and the game so i can play it on my xbox instead. Does the game recognize the HDD on the 360 so it does replays and not stills? Im only asking that because the game wont recognize my ps3 HDD for some reason. Thank you.

Yeah, that's weird, I have saw others saying that the replays and SportsCenter and all that was shown as stills on the PS3 even though it has an hdd. Doesn't make sense. I have it on my PS2 (which has the hdd from Final Fantasy IX or whichever it was) and everything was full motion video on it, was stills before I installed the hdd. So you would think it would be full video on the PS3.

Anyway, to answer your question since I have the Xbox version as well and is what I now play. Yes, everything is full video on the 360. The replays at halftime, Sports Center, everything. Also, each and every play from beginning to end of game is temporarily saved throughout each game so at any time you can go back and view the replay of any play that has taken place so far. You can do that on the PS2 as well if you have the hdd like is in mine, just in case you wanted to know.

The PS3 has a HDD, but PS2 games can't access it for a couple of reasons.

A) The PS2's HDD uses IDE, the PS3 uses SATA. They're different interfaces.

B) The PS3 doesn't have emulation software to allow the PS2 games to access the HDD.

The download on the PSN is for Final Fantasy XI only. Basically, the PS2 games don't know that the HDD is there. The FFXI HDD is the only one that will work with the PS3 as well. If you stick a regular HDD in there, the game won't see it either.

The 360 on the other hand has space set aside on the HDD for Xbox games and the system has software to tell the Xbox games where to save.
