Can someone please help me with the roster update?

I'm doing this on Xbox 360. And I've followed the guide given here:

It's still not working for me. I've tried a few times, and every time I load the game up, the rosters aren't there. I spent $20 on the cable needed to do this, and I really want to get this to work.

If you're willing to guide me through this, I can do it via webcam and you can tell me what to do that way.

I have MSN, Yahoo or we can just use Stickam (that would be easiest).

Yea, still didn't work. Tried two different rosters now. Tried on both Vista and XP.
This is really pissing me off now, because I'm following exactly what the guide says. I'm using Xport 360, because Xplorer360 wouldn't load partition 3 for whatever reason.

Is there anything I'm missing? Is there a reason the save isn't copying over? I didn't spend $20 on this cable for it to not work.
