how can i get the free cable?

i have a hard time getting microsoft to send me the cable...i think it just depends on who picks up the phone but i have tried twice and it doesn't work. i just wanna know who has gotten one and what did you say to get one

yea it does depend on who it is. heres what i did ask them for a cable because you just bought the 120 gb hard drive and you need to transfer your stuff then the chick said ok that will be 12.50 or sumtin like that i just said no mam i dont have a credit card so she said let me check my resources so she did n said it used to be free i said aww that sucks she said let me see what i can do for you n she was like ok im sending it gave her my adress and 3 or 4 days it was here hope that helps... this was on my 2nd try

I did the exact same thing ockbarz69 did and got the same response, and ended up getting my cable for free. I also had a woman as my resource representative, I wonder if we had the same one?
