Yeah, I know that 2K5 can still be played on 360 and I thought about that but going through the process of transferring rosters back and forth is a huge pain in the *** compared to the original Xbox.
Also, I dont have an HDTV and 2K5 only supports 480p so there's not really much of an upgrade. Unlike most gamers nowadays, im not a graphics whore and have no problem with how 2K5 looks on Xbox. Quite honestly, I still think that 2K5's player models look better than Madden especially the faces. The faces in Madden are beyond horrible because they dont even look like who they're supposed to. The stadiums look great in Madden and I even thought about buying an HDTV from Best Buy for $300 by Toshiba or Samsung but then thought to myself, if im not going to play Madden, why spend more money on something that will just sit there and collect dust. Plus, you cant play older systems (SNES, Sega CD, etc.) on HDTV's because they arent compatible with each other and the games look all screwed up.
I should have just stayed wih trying Madden on the PS2 which I originally was going to do but after watching the Ravens/Titans game on YouTube that Ian was playing, I decided to buy a 360 instead. Obviously, NOT a smart idea on my part. I thought that I might be able to get into Madden and actually play it but that didnt happen and no, it does NOT play like 2K5.
Bottom line is that im going to do what I should have done all along and thats stay with 2K5 and keep updating it.
ESPN NFL 2K5 is STILL the greatest football video game released thus far and after playing 2010, im pretty damn confident that its going to stay that way for years to come.
