What if 2k just made a patch for 2k5 to make things a little updated but we would have to buy it so we would have updated stadiums ( THE WALLS ) and like the names and also the uniforms .... i dont know! just an idea.

Actually, as I recall, the Xbox version was patched.

As far as updating the stuff, they don't have the license anymore and I'm pretty sure that would violate it.

I think you are correct. EA would probably sue if 2k tried to "update".
