well after this year's madden , i thought EA put out a better Madden title than usual. NFL 2k5 still is a clear winner in many ways. Madden i think has the advantage in Stadiums , Uniforms. 2k5 has the advantage in pretty much all gameplay aspects. one thing that i think madde wins in that is gameplay is the kicking in 2k5 . with the arrow moving , its just a little frustrating when i just want to kick but thats just me personally , i'd prefer the arrow still. NFL 2k5 attirubtes are way more better than Madden's. QB - Read Coverage WR - Run route , etc those are way more accurate than Awareness. Presentation wise with annoucers. NFL 2k5 wins by 100 miles , the annoucers in Madden 10 are godawful.

Finally after playing madden for a long time , but when i got the playoffs in NFL 2k5. Playoff paint! finally. AFC / NFC championship , NFL playoffs. Madden 10 finally catches up with 2k5 in one thing.

NFL 2k5 Clearly wins , Madden only really wins in just the Uniforms and Stadiums which are almost meaningless.

While I agree that 2K5 is superior in gameplay and presentation. There is no way that it's franchise mode tops Madden. Especially in the off-season. There is no progression, its all pre-determined. The draft logic is terrible and many other problems hamper that mode. Madden had them beat in franchise mode all the way back on Madden 2005 and beyond.

Its kinda hard to compare gms because one is from 2005 and the other is from 2009. even thought 2k5 still has somethings in it that are superior to madden 10. I say madden 10 wins just for it being more modern

People are always hating on NFL 2K5....Madden 10 is good but not up to snuff when placed up against 2K5. There are TONS of videos on youtube that prove this.

I actually played Madden 10 this weekend and I actually enjoyed it!
The only problem I have is the passing game is to robotic; I try to pass between the zones but the QB kept passing to where the route ended.

I think the tackling sucks also; to many missed tackles!

It took me a while to get the complete understanding of the game and the gameplay is much better but there are still a few glitches or gameplay features that suck.

I think it is a good game overall but gameplay is about 7.
