    Is this possible...?

First off I am on PS2, I have Finn's Editor and have good CPU vs CPU sliders. What I am trying to do is create my "own" NFL. These are the things I'm needing to do.

1 Start with original rosters in Franchise Mode
2 After the season is over, have the CPU sign/release/have players retire
3 Before a draft is done, the 2005 season I want to have the rookies from the 2005 draft. Maybe I can somehow "grab" them off another season file even if i have to copy down the ratings. Of course using Finn's editor to get the rookies in the game.
4 Save the rosters and begin the next season even if I have to start a "New" Franchise. So technically it'd be the 2005-2006 season, just with the rosters switched up a bit compared to real life.

Possible? If so any tips or anyone that has tried the same thing please help me. Thanks guys.

This may be tough to do, if the CPU is involved then decisions will be made for injuries, trades etc, unless you manually do all of this including all draft picks. There is a recent franchise file that has the draft class accessible, you could start there and edit. Good luck

What are you talking about? You want to start a 2005 season and then put in the rookies that were really in that years draft? Then do the same the following year?

Aside from that, with you having ps2, unless you know what your doing with converting, it may not be easy to use finns editor. Its not as simple a process as it is for xbox.

Holy crap!!! Someone stole my idea. Of course, my idea is years old but nevertheless, my idea.

Basically, you want to load a roster from 2004 (final, opening, default, etc.) and play (or simulate) the 2004 season and then play the 2005 season as it was played in reality. You want to use the Draft Class to edit all the generic players into the actual players who were drafted in the 2005 NFL Draft (Alex Smith, Aaron Rodgers, Antre Rolle, etc.) and once you're able to get every player on their correct team, play the 2005 NFL season.

In short, you want to play a multi-season franchise but with 2005 coming as close as possible to what it was in reality without loading any other roster and/or franchise files.

If this is what you're talking about (which I think it is), let me know and I'll get back to you quickly.
