For the 1980-2007 set I included the 98 Cards when I did the set 2 years ago or thereabouts. The '08 Cardinals and '05 Seahawks are already in the Great Teams set I posted above a few days ago. This set spans all teams from 1960-today and is posted in the Roster section.

I would suggest someone should do a SuperBowl set. Pick favorite SB teams and include in a season set. of course, what do you do with the Texans, Lions, and Browns?
The set I put together that is attached in this thread on first page was made to represent possibly the greatest teams for each franchise in that year range (1980-2007) based on a few stats like points scored, points allowed, point differential in games played, etc. It is not a perfect science, but there was criteria used as opposed to just picking favorite teams. Again, they may not be the greatest teams ever, but stats show they were ranked at the top, or close to it.

oh, ok....thanks for the info, capa. i now see your logic with the teams you selected. a super bowl set is a GREAT idea. i think you or puja are best qualified to do the super bowl set. also, a suggestion would be maybe a super bowl teams set for 1960-1980 and 1980-2009. i would also include the best playoff teams for the non-super bowl teams, 2007 or 2009 texans, 1991 lions and 1986 browns.
