How to make a Defensive Back less hard hitting

I know we have hard hitters around the NFL but I want to know how to make some cornerbacks and safeties less able to hit a reciever and separate him from the ball.

When a reciever is catching a ball not every DB tries to give the bone crushing hit... so how can we make certain DB's rating reflect more of a cover guy/wrap tackler then a bruiser?

Write level/ranges of attributes to make ratings reflect this.

I believe the only way I've read people fixing your problem is to adjust receiver's catching attribute. If you use one of Finn's editors you can adjust any position's attribute for the whole league. That way you don't have to edit every receiver one by one to do this.

Once you start up that road you have to not pay so much attention to player ratings. Usually to get the game to play how you want the player ratings will look out of whack.
