Coaches choice

Has anyone tried playing whole games using the coaches choice options for playcalling? I like to do this sometimes so that I'll get practice using some plays that I either don't think work so well or that I have had bad experiences with. In some cases I may find that with practice the plays become a little bit more usable. Curious to see if anyone else has tried this.

Re: Coaches choice

I actually play a majority of my games this way. I do however on a few occasions throughout the game call my own plays, but for the most part I leave it up to the coach.

Re: Coaches choice

That is the only way I play. I've mentioned this several times over the years in various conversations. For me, using my sliders and only running the plays the coach calls, I have pretty realistic games. It keeps me from be tempted to run money plays as well. If the coach calls one, so be it, but at least it's not me picking one trying to take advantage of the CPU. And since I run whatever pops up I am picking the play very quickly so I play with 7 minute quarters and still get in anywhere from 105-123 total plays per game.
