Weekly Prep.....

To be honest I never used it that much before. The couple times I did I always got ratings drops. But I'm about to start a new franchise and to add something new, I will be doing the weekly preps every week. For better or worse. I was wondering how many people actually do the "weekly prep" and what's your take on it. Also for those that do it, is it really possible to rehab a injured player that is out/questionable for "x" weeks and bring him back healthy earlier?

Re: Weekly Prep.....

On the first Franchise i played i used the weekly preparation the first 7 games, but i changed it quickly after that. If you don`t know how exactly you must use the different preps it´s too hard to get a normal/good result, but you can bring back players earlier after a injury when i´am not completely wrong!

Re: Weekly Prep.....

I personally HATED Weekly Prep. When I first read about it during Football Friday, I was excited but once I found out that it was just menu based, I lost all interest. I did try it a few times or so and to me, its just one of the many crappy gimmicks in 2K5 (along with ESPN 25th, the Crib, etc.). Its kind of sad actually. Just imagine if VC didnt have crap like that and instead focused on the franchise mode instead by adding an actual Training Camp and a much more in depth off-season including franchise tags and head coaching changes. Oh well. Another reason why I hated Weekly Prep is because its the reason as to why players dont increase or decrease during the season (unlike 2K3). VC wanted the player to use WP. Thanks but no thanks.
