Operation Sports: Is there any chance Visual Concepts will release ESPN Football sooner than Sept. 2?
Greg Thomas: Most definitely… in fact, if we finish our project as scheduled it should be out around our big rival’s game.

Where did you get this information. I just re-read the July 22nd interview with Greg Thomas, and that questions isn't anywhere? Is it from a previous interview?

Even though I will be getting ESPN no matter what.....It needs to be released sooner. Sorry to say this but you never get a second chance to make a first impression. And even though I am well informed of the maker of the game (VC).....even "I" get a "sick" feeling in my stomach when I hear the name "ESPN Football" attached to a video game. Konami did that to me. . But I know better and have to look past it. First Sega has to overcome the name change... some of the public might not be aware of. Second, it needs to be on shelves at or near the same time as Madden, to have a better chance of succeeding. (financially that is) And that helps ensure that we will get a 2k5!!! or ESPN 2005. Whatever!

I want my ESPN!
