well im a new espner never really played any of the 2k games, but lemme ask ur opinion about something. I guess u cud say that this is weird but I guess i dont wanna play the preseason, partly in fear of ruining the surprise of the stadiums i have never played in before that my patriots will b pllaying in, in both the pre and regular season (the Eagles and Redskins) but do u think i will b able to jump right in with out testing the waters and play my franchise right away? i consider myself to have a good football sense but will it be too dramatic of a change from madden.

I also dont want to jeopardize my playoff chances because i didnt know how to play the game for the first few weeks

Play a few exhibition games in another stadium and also go through the fundamentals in the training mode, get some practice time in there. Once you think you're ready, start your Patriots franchise and cross your fingers. j/k
