Your set will likely upconvert the 720p signal to 1080i. Very few sets out there actually natively support 720p.

The thing is, some HDTV sets won't convert 720p signals from games, only from HDTV tuners (ABC and ESPN HD use 720p).

HDTVARCADE.com is dedicated to HDTV games.

NBA2K3 supported 720p last year so it would be interesting how many people were able to get that to work.
