Question about gameplay

Do all the players play close to like they do in real life? Will I be able to scramble with Vick ? Mow people over with Alstot ? I haven't played the series since 2k2 and I didn't play 2k2 much because it came out so late.

Re: Question about gameplay

According to VC, there will be a great emphasis on player abilites. They say the differences between a Micheal Vick and a Rob Johnson will be very appparent.

it was a very well-rounded game....but there is defenitely going to be a big hump for you. It will feel weird...search for sliders too.

Plus although 2k3 was a good game to me, this ESPN is gonna be so different from what I've seen and heard, renting 2k3 won't be a good gauge as to how good ESPN will be or even help to tune you up for it if that's what your looking to do. And if you do rent it, adjust the catch slider down to the left to make it easier if it's too hard.

Re: Question about gameplay

I may pick up 2k3 for 9.99 just to get used to the controls etc.

Re: Question about gameplay

Thats the one thing a like about VC they don't do that "If it ain't broke don't fix it" thing like other football developers do. If VC can enhance it or make it better in some way they will.

I would get 2K3 anf try it out but at least play a whole season before giving up. That way if you don't like then you don't like it not because you didn't give it a chance to grow on you. I'm sure 2K4 will be different but you'll still get the basics down in 2K3 before 2K4 hits.
