That is what I read on the latest Preview of ESPN Football .

They said it doesn't feel like the players ever touch the ground . Hmmmmmmmmm

IGN gave NFL 2K3's graphics an 8.0. This was one of the reasons, I think it's just something inherited with the current engine...it's something that is barely noticable to me.

I just watched the latest gameplay movie from gamespot and I don't know what that guy is talking about. I do know that some people complained that 2k3 had floaty players in their opinions, so I guess it is in the eye of the beholder.

I will say that the transisiton between the running gameplay animations to the canned post play animations look like there is a glide. Watching Alstott in the video run in for the touchdown, he then glides into his TD celebration which makes it look like he floats.

Bottom line, if you didn't notice floaty players in 2k3 then you won't this year. If you did then you will probably have the same complaint.

Maybe the guy is playing in First Person mode and noticed he couldn't see his own legs, causing him to believe he's just a floating head....

All I know is that in that Alstott .gif someone put up, (sorry I can't remember who to give credit to) it didn't look like that joker was foating. He was rumblin' bumblin' stumblin' lumberin' to the endzone!
