Sega From the 2nd To The 4th release date..GAME OVER for you

I saw the commercial..and It now says sept 4th.Let me tell you Sega has done this with MOst of their games..But this is such a bad move with Espn Football that I am done with sega..I wilL learn to like madden...I mean sega GAME OVER fo you...how could you do this after Dismal sales last year..With so much on the line you choked..And It won't be only me...I would think if you knew your sales last y ear were so bad that you would begin work right then..YOU had More then Enoug time to get it out buy august 1st..GAME OVER SEGA

You are right about Not paying 55 bucks for madden..Heck I waited this long I will wait for hockey and racing game...You know sega just had so much on the line...I am just airing out..

By the time January rolled around last year 2K3 sold about as much for PS2 as 2K2 did and it came out the same week as Madden 2003. Meanwhile 2K2 came out in the middle of November, months after Madden 2002.

Releasing the same week as Madden isn't as big as you guys make it out to be. The hype and peer pressure store environment created by a Madden release may even hurt it.

The game wasn't pushed back, the 2nd is the date showen as the shipping date on websites. Kinda like how Madden ships the 11th but the street date is the 14th.

The 4th is the start of the NFL season. They better not push it back much further. It further sucks for me because the games usually come out a couple of days later in Canada than they do in the states. Part of the reason is they have to print two instruction manuals - one in french. I certainly hope I get my hands on the game (pre-ordered) before the Sunday games.

i agree. the demo will hold me over, as it should everyone else as soon as it comes out.
