ESPN release date

I hope the reason for the late release is for setting up online leagues on the xbox.

Re: ESPN release date

If they keep pushing it back, I may have to get Madden. On second thought I may have to get Fever.

Re: ESPN release date

Why is it that people seem to think getting Madden is punishment? I don't know what it is, but it seems that if you play Madden, you're either brainwashed or a non-hardcore gamer, and if you play NFL 2K3, you finally saw the light and realize how terrible Madden is? I have both games and while I do play NFL 2K3 more than Madden, it's not light years ahead of Madden as you would be led to believe on these boards.

OK, ima turn back into my normal self now.

Re: ESPN release date

My big problem with Madden is they been in the business for 15 years and the game has only come along this far. That's why I left the Madden series for ESPN cuz $50 bucks for Madden doesn't seem reasonable any more. Year in and year out it's the same as 3 years before with minor tweaks. EA has decided to not push their game to the limit so I said screw paying $50 for it. ESPN is the only game out there I see trying to make a real football game bringing new additions to gameplay ect every year. The release date of ESPN doesn't bother me and I'll wait as long as it takes for Sega to put out a quality game.

I have to get madden now (though I think the game looks GREAT and I am drooling for it as much as ESPN) because I leave for school before ESPN comes out. I might not have enough time or money to get it up at school.

Re: ESPN release date

Madden gets boring to me, it feels like the same old game year after year. They need to make some changes to the game, new player models etc.
