Somehow, that oddly reminded me of those heated arguements that happened on the General Football board.

Well, back to the real discussion about the ad.

The ad is a breath of fresh air. It's good that while Madden is taking the competitive route, ESPN takes the comedic and paradiotic route. Don't be surprised, if this ad gets animated and makes it to TV, that it gets heavy rotation on Comedy Central, MTV, and any other cable/satellite station that states that comedy sells. Great ad.

Nice ad and i just hope VC takes the same approach EA has with their game. For example, a local news station in New Orleans showed how EA went to Saints camp and showed off the new Madden game to NFL players. Damn VC has a battle to fight even with the NFL pros.

They don't need to. When you are the top seller, you don't take shots at #2, you just keep selling.
