I didnt read all the respones on here so I might be double posting this, but stores like EB get a certain number of games depending on how many are reserved..so if a store only has 5 preorders for Madden, then it most likely won't get more than 10 copies(5 reserved and 5 for anyone else). If they have 50 copies of Madden on reserve they get maybe 70 copies. So the more pre-orders they get basically the more money the stores get, so thats why they really push pre-orders for big games. Basic math.

Yeah it's fun reading this stuff. People love to believe that there is some X-files conspiracy going on. Stores wanna sell the games. If they are out of Madden and ESPN i'm sure they'd be having A "Fever Friday" Sale. Gamespot managers aren't fatcats out to get you. They gotta eat too you know. Like no one here ever tried to get another kid to trade you his Rickey Henderson card for a Pete Incaviglia.
