I downloaded a new roster and was editing the birthdays to the real life ones, but I was wondering if this effects the age in the game?

What I mean is, when I plug these rosters in the game, will the age be from today (2010) or back when the game was made?

In the editor I changed, for example, Terrence Austin to his real birthday and he is 21 (I think), but i uncheck 'Calculate Age Based on Today' and he is 14 years old.

To revisit my question, will Austin be 21 or 14 in the game?

Only if you import a 2010 schedule into your franchise. If you just start a new franchise with that roster the game will play as if it's 2004, making those players quite young.
