how to make 360 Compatible

Ok, I have the older style white 360 with a 120 gig hard drive that is black.

I downloaded the latest update from xbox and updated my console. Now my dashboard is noticiblly different, so I know that update worked.

The damn thing still says it's uncapitbile with 2k5. Halo still works, always has. But I think that was built in anyway.

Searching their site, just keeps taking me in circles. Is there some sort of file for each original xbox game?

I remember searching a long time ago and they used to have a list of games with maybe downloads offered.

I can't find anything by googling etc..

I just put the game in while being connected online and it updated the game for me and was ready to play.You might have to clear your cache and then re download everything again, but try to play it again and see what happens. Hope that helps a little.

yeah...i just played it not a week or so ago and i had to download another update for it again. it might be because of that new 360 update a few weeks ago.

The problem is I haven't figured out how to connect to xbox live yet, all I have is a cellular card for internet access,

I've tried to rig up my laptop to the 360, but I't can't seem to detect my network hardware, even though i've marked it to share, created a bridge tried several things...

Supposedly you don't need a crossover cable for a 360 due to some switch thing, I just have a normal line right now. I might try a crossover and see if that works.

So until I get that figured out, I'm trying to see if there is some way to update my 360 offline.
