I noticed and agree the helmets and facemasks looked very odd last year. I have seen some pics and I think they look alot better this year, not as good as Madden's or Fever's now but better and good enough to compliment their great player models.

I don't get it... what's wrong with the helmets? I heard from you guys that the facemask thingies are a little low, but nothing else. What else is wrong?

They're shaped like an upside down "U". I think if it filled more on the sides (more padding) it would give it a rounder shape. Also the face mask tends to look wirey. They Need to be thicker and cover more of the face. It's nitpicking, but only because I think we all feel that they're so close to blurring the lines of reality. It's the same reason parents push their straight "A" students so hard and kind of let the not so smart member of the family slide lol.
