Demo is anyone having problems completing passes to recievers

It seems like straight-out big passes are very hard to complete, but short throws and corner passes are usually clutch.

Okay, I'm not saying "The reason why is because you stink".

I gave multiple reasons of why. Maybe you gotta wait a little longer, or just like in real life, you can't throw darts on bombs, you gotta lob it kinda... maybe you are holding onto A (for me it's X, I have a PS2, so no, I can't play on Xbox Live vs you)... or maybe it's because you gotta read the play and it requires your guy to be out before you pass it. Or maybe you have maximum passing on and you are using the left analog stick and holding onto up while you're throwing.

Sorry if you thought I was trying to bash you or something, but that was just a reasoning... I mean I can sack guys well on 2K3, you gotta use the advanced line moves and perform them perfectly and properly.

Otherwise if this is a problem, not that many people had it, but if this is, it is most likely already fixed.

I can help you guys out. You're going to be more successful if you time your throws.
Try to throw the ball right when your reciever is supposed to make his cut. This will increase your chances of a completion.
Also try getting used to putting touch on your passes.
Try making sure your reciever is open or is going to be open.
You also have to remember to mix in some run plays.
You also have to take in consideration your match-ups too.
Remember you have tightends and runningbacks you can throw to.
Try throwing to the side with the least coverage.

If the DBs are in bump & run and the best DB is covering the guy you want to throw you'll have to give him a little more time to get open or he might not get open at all.

another thing, you have to feel the passing game.Know when to use touch,and when to zip it.

Don't throw the ball before the QB is done with his drop back. Try to throw it right when he bounces at the end of his drop, or wait till after for someone to get open. Short passes are a must this year, and if you are going to throw a bomb, take control of the reciver, and run to the spot and catch it.

i have the ps2 version and that doesnt really happen to me...Maybe the receiver gets held up by the DBs? You should try throwing it to someone thats not being covered too tightly

The demo had me stumped for a little bit, but isn't that tough to complete passes....

1. Decide quick who to throw it to.
2. If no throw, roll out and get more time.
3. Don't fade too far back or you're dead every time.
4. Learn to be patient in the pocket.

That's it. It's really not that tough. You guys will get better. I'd like to see a little more protection, but I don't think it's too tough that a slider action won't alleviate all problems...
