I want to like this game, Madden has grown stale it's a total offencive game and I think i'm ready for a change.Tell me what are the main diffrences between the 2 and whats great about it and whats not so great? Just to let you know I have Madden and haven't even opened it yet! With everything i've read and herd I may not open it at all as NCAA is just been great so far.I do wish Madden would follow there way of doing football and thats why i'm ready to change and if I don't like it I may even try Gameday which used to be the better gane on the PS1. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP GUYS.

Shouldn't you atleast try to play Madden since you already bought it. Cause in the end, the only opinion that matters is yours.

Why don't you guys either try playing the games, or watch movies and read previews instead of just coming into a thread asking for everyone to convince you to buy it?

I think Madden was greatly improved this year, and really with an imporved running game and defense would pretty much be a perfect football game.

You should buy ESPN NFL Football because:
1. Warren Sapp looks really pretty on the cover.
2. The gold side of the ESPN disc will be much more shiney than Madden's.

The two best thing about 2k really is that the run blocking is amazing, you actually have to follow your blocks if you wanna be succesful in the run game. And in the past I felt like I had control on Defense where as Madden I always felt like I was just coaching the D and it didn't matter much what I did. This year they seemed to have made it more like Madden where it feels as if I have less control. So for this year I guess the second reason would be real playbooks, the playbooks in ESPN are much more realitic than Madden, in my opinion.

Now pick which ever one you want, it's a decision you need to make not me, they're both great football games.

I'm tired you need to go read the other 8 threads for poeple asking to be convinced to buy ESPN. Then buy either the Official Playstation Magazine or the Official Xbox Magazine and play the demo. The controls for the demo are in a thread here too.

Why not wait until it is available for rental? People who are unsure of a game always seem to need a reason to buy it the day it comes out and then get upset easily when/if they don't like it.
